I have studied with the renowned harpist Sanchia Pielou and was asked to join the orchestra of the Scottish Ballet as principal harpist immediately after I graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with a BA in Music Performance in 1985. During my time with the Scottish Ballet orchestra I was also principal harpist with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. I enjoyed combining these two roles for many years before recently moving to Worcestershire.
